RULE
AWARD REGI SOMMERGIBILI

A new diploma is presented in the vast world of the Royal Navy Award. Once again we wanted to represent and bring to historical evidence the contribution that our submarines and the heroic feats of the men of the sea who piloted these vehicles during the Second World War gave to our country.

Below you will find the regulation that partly takes up the regulation of the Royal Navy awards, but which differs substantially in that, instead of the letters there are a series of numbers preceded by the letter "S" which indicates SUBMARINE. Each number has been assigned a boat in alphabetical order of class.

Each operator station, will have to request accreditation at each appointment with the diploma and will be assigned a number (e.g. S-12), this will indicate the boat, which will vary from time to time with each participation.
This acronym is not fixed like the letters, but will vary at each radio appointment with the diploma, so as to allow everyone to acquire more boats to access the diplomas.

There are three diplomas (bronze, silver and gold) and they are acquired by connecting 15 submarines the bronze diploma, 25 submarines the silver diploma and 50 submarines the gold diploma.

At 75 submarines connected, you will be entitled to request the plaque, at 100 the trophy. Only these two awards are paid while the diplomas are issued free of charge.

During the year we will have only two appointments, one in February and the other in October, each of 7 days each, so as to give everyone the opportunity to connect the accredited stations and have the opportunity to access the diplomas. The methods will be the same as the Regia Marina award, they will be able to use the SSB, CW modes and the digital modes FT8/FT4 and RTTY. The bands in use are only the HF including the WARC. The VHF and UHF are excluded.

The A.R.M.I. Diploma called "AWARD REGI SOMMERGIBILI ITALIANI" was created to remember and commemorate the over 150 Italian boats that during the Second World War gave their contribution by sacrificing men and means for the glory of the Beloved Homeland.
